4a Architekten - the studio founded in 1990 in Stuttgart by four architects: Matthias Burkart, Eberhard Pritzer (a partner until 2001), Alexander von Salmuth and Ernst Ulrich Tillmanns. Following graduation they had all previously worked as project architects at Behnisch und Partner in Stuttgart. The company designs and reconstructs sports structures, resident, commercial and public buildings, and also makes interior design.
